Come sail with us at one of our classic locations…Windjammers Sailing Club! Due to popular demand we will host two events at Windjammers this year.
Tent camping is available onsite and RVs can park at Windjammers in designated areas – (see yellow circle on map). There are a couple sailing members who live in the area who often open their homes as well for people to stay; their offer typically travels by word of mouth. If you chose to forego camping or staying with a local, the closest hotel is Country Inn & Suites, located less than 15min south of the sailing club. You can click here to be directed to their site to book a stay.
Boats and trailers can be stored directly on the grass at the club (see red boxes on map). The launch site is available right from the grass (see blue area on map) and you will follow the channel markers to get out in to the bay.
Saturday night’s dinner is a grill out held at Windjammers. Windjammers will provide the protein, CRAW sailors will bring a potluck dish to pass. There will be a free keg of beer (while supplies last)!
Other things to do in the area include visiting the New Zoo, Bay Beach Amusement Park or the Wildlife Sanctuary, Green Bay Botanical Garden, the National Railroad Museum, Lambeau Field (home of the Packers!), and Heritage Hill State Park. There are also different hiking trails around the Green Bay area that you could explore (for example Fonferek’s Glen). We hope you can stop out and join us! This regatta is part of the non-spinnaker fleet series.

THIS IS A RELEASE AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT: By registering for a CRAW event, you certify that you have the necessary experience, skill and equipment to safely compete in the CRAW regatta and are fully aware of the weather and sea conditions that may exist during the race. The decision to start or continue sailing in the CRAW regatta is yours alone, and you accept full responsibility for your decision. You acknowledge that you are competing in the CRAW regatta at your own risk and agree to waive all claims that might arise against the Catamaran Racing Association of Wisconsin (CRAW), its sponsors, their servants, agents or employees, as well as their officers, directors, committeemen or members. You agree that the aforementioned are not liable whatsoever for any accident or injury to yourself, your boat, your crew or any guest on your boat. You represent that your boat is seaworthy and complies with the safety rules of the United States Coast Guard and certify that you have liability insurance for your boat.
