The time has finally arrived for CRAW’s annual Green Lake Regatta!
Boats will be launched from the Sunset Park/Green Lake Inlet Boat Launch (see yellow box on image below), located on the eastern end of Green Lake, off Hwy A. WE HAVE BEEN ASKED TO PARK ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE BATHROOMS ON THE GRASS TOWARD TOWN (see the pink area on the image below), AND NOT TO USE THE GRAVEL AREA AS THIS IS FOR FISHING BOATS. We also have permission to park boats and trailers overnight on site; please be sure to bring equipment to anchor down your boats for the night. The lake at this end has a sandy bottom and is shallow which is perfect for launching, returning and trying to adjust your boat while on the water.
**There is a $5/day launch fee included with registration. Stickers are to be clearly displayed.**
Our lodging takes place at the Hattie Sherwood Campground. The campground is a 6min drive north of the launch site (3 miles). Sites 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, and 17 are reserved for the group, which is a healthy mix between campers/RV and tent sites. The camper/RV sites are pull-through and will have 50amp and 30amp plug-ins. We should be able to get by with 4-5 people per site. Our reservation at the campground starts on Friday after 2pm and ends Sunday by noon. All meals will be on your own with the exception of Saturday night. Saturday night’s meal will be a potluck held at the pavilion at the lake.
Camp fees as well as the $5/day launch fee will be incorporated into the registration.

Saturday’s dinner will be a potluck – everyone should sign up for a dish to pass and prepare for a hearty meal! If we are staying at the Pilgrim Center, Sunday’s breakfast is buffet-style and is located at the Norenberg Lodge/Lakeview Hall (see the pink box on the Pilgrim Center map below). Meal tickets for Sunday’s breakfast for both skipper and crew are included as part of the registration fee. Additional meal tickets for family members and friends will be available for purchase as part of the online registration process for $12/person.

THIS IS A RELEASE AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT: By registering for a CRAW event, you certify that you have the necessary experience, skill and equipment to safely compete in the CRAW regatta and are fully aware of the weather and sea conditions that may exist during the race. The decision to start or continue sailing in the CRAW regatta is yours alone, and you accept full responsibility for your decision. You acknowledge that you are competing in the CRAW regatta at your own risk and agree to waive all claims that might arise against the Catamaran Racing Association of Wisconsin (CRAW), its sponsors, their servants, agents or employees, as well as their officers, directors, committeemen or members. You agree that the aforementioned are not liable whatsoever for any accident or injury to yourself, your boat, your crew or any guest on your boat. You represent that your boat is seaworthy and complies with the safety rules of the United States Coast Guard and certify that you have liability insurance for your boat.
