Get ready to join your comrades at a CRAW favorite venue!

Camping this year will be at Petenwell County Park, approximately 10 minutes south of the launch site at Barnum Bay Yacht Club. Boats will be launched from the Barnum Bay Yacht Club as in the past. CRAW has two group sites (#173 and #174) reserved, and each site should be able to accommodate 3 RVs or tents, potentially more. There are additional sites available if needed. The cost for camping is $25/night.
Petenwell County Park is located at 2004 Bighorn Drive, Arkdale, WI 54613.
Boat launches are done from the sand beach at the lower level. If you follow the parking lot to the back, there is a road where you can bring your boat and trailer down to the launch site (see the red path on the image below). Trailers and boats can remain on the beach overnight in a designated area (see the pink area on the image below).
Your registration for this event includes coffee, juice and donuts/danishes both Saturday and Sunday mornings along with some refreshments after racing each day. Dinner on Saturday will be a potluck at the Petenwell Cty Park campground, with the main dish to be provided by CRAW. Please sign up to bring a dish to pass here.
Saturday nights are usually spent chatting around a bonfire, playing games of bocce ball or spike ball, and just having a good time together! Bring your rain gear, though – Petenwell almost always has at least a little rain shower come through each year.
THIS IS A RELEASE AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT: By registering for a CRAW event, you certify that you have the necessary experience, skill and equipment to safely compete in the CRAW regatta and are fully aware of the weather and sea conditions that may exist during the race. The decision to start or continue sailing in the CRAW regatta is yours alone, and you accept full responsibility for your decision. You acknowledge that you are competing in the CRAW regatta at your own risk and agree to waive all claims that might arise against the Catamaran Racing Association of Wisconsin (CRAW), its sponsors, their servants, agents or employees, as well as their officers, directors, committeemen or members. You agree that the aforementioned are not liable whatsoever for any accident or injury to yourself, your boat, your crew or any guest on your boat. You represent that your boat is seaworthy and complies with the safety rules of the United States Coast Guard and certify that you have liability insurance for your boat.
